Trump accuses media of lying about the crowds that attended the inauguration

the US president, Donald Trump, Saturday, and severely media the day after he was sworn in, accusing it of lying about the estimated number of people who attended the inauguration ceremony.

Trump said during his visit to the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA): "Frankly, there seemed to be two million and a half million, and reached (the crowd) until the Washington Monument."

He added: "I watch the TV channel which was showing (space) empty and talking about 250 thousand people .. This is a lie."

Trump pointed to the "war" being waged against the media, where the 45th president of the United States considered that journalists are among the "most persons lack of fairness in the world."

Usually American police do not provide any numbers during the demonstrations, but aerial photographs broadcast by US television channels Friday showed that the crowd did not even reach the Washington Monument, and that the number was clearly less than a million and a half million people.

The number of the crowd less than the number who gathered in the same place during the performance of former President Barack Obama, right twice, in 2009 and 2013.
